Geometries is a body of expressive  statement necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
When approached to produce a collection for the Tate, Simone wanted to use the works found within the gallery as the main basis for inspiration. The pieces grew through the process of the commission.  With the strong geometric influences found in the work of the minimalist art movement she went forward to explore the simple use of line; combining that with the architectural modernism typical to her visual language.
As one of few jewellery artists working with copper Brewster decided to exclusively use this material and subtly extrude the surface of the plane through the use of layering and cuts of the sheet material. Through the building up of these hand cut layers the pieces grow,  resulting in a bold collection with strong lines and warm tones.

Materials: Polished hand sealed copper, leather.
